CivicArc Commercial Marketing Team
Editorial note: CivicArc Commercial and their marketing team members are fictional. They are designed as a consistent story world for Leadership Communicator and to help make the points that support our important consulting lessons.
About CivicArc Commercial
CivicArc Commercial is an established, full-service commercial real estate firm in a major U.S. metropolitan area. The company represents owners, investors, and occupiers across office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use properties. It is known locally for pairing neighborhood-level knowledge with the reach and discipline of a large firm.
The company’s name comes from its work: helping people and businesses move through the city with intention, while creating a meaningful arc for the buildings and communities they serve. CivicArc’s work is practical, relationship-led, and ambitious without being flashy.
The marketing team’s role
Marketing at CivicArc is not a request desk. The team is a strategic partner to leasing, investment sales, property management, and executive leadership. Together, they:
- Shape how the firm and its properties are positioned in the market.
- Build campaigns that create qualified interest and help brokers start better conversations.
- Turn data, tenant feedback, and market shifts into useful decisions.
- Protect a consistent, credible brand while making room for fresh ideas.
- Help internal teams tell a confident, human story about the work they do.
The arrival of the team’s Director, Stanley, has sharpened the team’s role and influence. In only four months, the group has become more connected to the business and more intentional about the results behind the work.
Meet the Team

Stanley – Director of Marketing
Stanley joined CivicArc four months ago with the kind of reputation that makes a company sit up: over 24 years in marketing, a career built from the ground up, and a consistent record of growing client bases at organizations that needed a step change. He is personable and likable, but nobody mistakes his warmth for a lack of standards. Stanley listens closely, sees the commercial opportunity quickly, and expects the team to connect great work to real outcomes.
At CivicArc, he is bringing a clearer rhythm to marketing – more focus, faster decisions, and better connections across departments. His employer expected a strong hire; the early results have been better than anticipated. Stanley is especially skilled at making a crowded room feel aligned around one useful question: What will make the right audience care?

Deb – Content Communications Manager
Deb worked with Stanley at a previous company, so she understands both his standards and the trust behind his shorthand. That history makes her a stabilizing presence during a fast transition: she can translate Stanley’s strategic instinct into a story people across CivicArc can actually use.
She leads the written voice of the brand – from property narratives and executive perspectives to internal messages and customer-facing campaign copy. Deb believes strong communication should sound like a real person who has done the work to understand the audience. She is thoughtful in a meeting, exacting on a draft, and the teammate most likely to ask whether the group is solving the actual communication problem.

John – Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist
John has been with CivicArc for more than seven years, which makes him one of the marketing team’s clearest links to the company people knew before Stanley arrived. He understands the local market’s personalities, remembers which campaigns resonated, and recognizes the difference between a momentary spike and real audience interest.
He manages the digital spaces where CivicArc’s reputation is built in public. John brings a curious, practical approach to social media, email, web content, and digital campaign execution. He is always testing, but he never treats experimentation as an excuse to be careless with the brand. His best ideas combine what the data says with what he is hearing in the market.

Dixon – Creative & Brand Specialist
Dixon joined CivicArc just under nine months ago and quickly raised the visual bar. His work is memorable because he understands that design is not decoration – it is a way to make a complex idea feel immediate. From property launches and brand systems to motion and multimedia, Dixon looks for the visual choice that makes someone pause, understand, and act.
He brings a fresh eye and a healthy impatience with anything that feels generic. Dixon is energized by a clear challenge and does his best work when he has enough context to make a strong creative point of view. He wants the brand to feel polished, contemporary, and distinctly CivicArc—not like every other firm in the market.

Carrie – Marketing Analytics & Engagement Specialist
Carrie is the newest member of the team, hired by Stanley one month ago to bring more discipline to how CivicArc connects activity with impact. She arrived with a sharp analytical lens and a natural instinct for the human question behind every number: What should we do differently because we now know this?
Her role crosses channels and departments. Carrie is building the team’s measurement habits while paying close attention to engagement – both how audiences respond to the work and how internal partners experience the marketing process. She is confident enough to ask for clarity, but new enough to know that relationships and context matter before a dashboard can tell the whole story.

Sara – Executive Assistant to the Director of Marketing
Sara has worked at CivicArc for almost 15 years. She knows the organization well enough to recognize a looming conflict before it reaches the calendar and to understand which small detail will make a big meeting run smoothly. As Stanley’s assistant, she is his closest operational partner – but she is also a trusted resource for the team because she makes complicated days feel manageable.
Sara’s authority comes from reliability, discretion, and a deep understanding of how work actually gets done at CivicArc. She protects time, connects people, keeps commitments visible, and can offer a quiet reality check when a plan looks elegant on paper but difficult in practice. Her calm is not passive; it is one of the ways the team keeps moving.
